Asia Mathis "Sculpting the Head and Shoulders" 
3 Day Workshop    $360  LIMITED TO 8 PARTICIPANTS MAXIMUM
Friday, Feb 24th through Sun, February 26th   10am-4pm In this class we will utilize a variety of hand building techniques to hollow build a human bust from clay, while exploring your personal narrative and artistic style.  Each participant will come away with a completed form. 

Finishing techniques will be discussed in the workshop and information will be provided so that participants can add to their surface at their home studio.

Firing is not included.
Students will have to take their sculptures with them due to lack of storage space.

(Below items are available at Mud Puddle Pottery that you will need)
-Aardvark Soldate 60 - 25 lb bag but you may need more.
-Flexible Metal Serrated Rib
-Kemper Wire Sculpting Tool Set DSS- For Light Removal & Shaping Clay, 5 PC 6-1/2'' TOOLS
-A low profile turntable is helpful to work on or place under your board
OTHER ITEMS TO BRING:
