Watercolor is delightful, fresh, exciting, messy, delicate and tender, all at the same time. It is an enormously popular painting medium and has been since the nineteenth century. The most brilliant quality of watercolors is transparency and in this camp students will learn how to use it in their watercolor paintings. We will learn how to use the palette, how to mix color in order to have the right shade, and a lot about brushes and brushstrokes. In this camp we will learn a lot about composition, light and form, tonal painting, and negative space.
All social distancing guidelines will be followed. Face masks will not be required, but we encourage those who wish to wear them.
