Having a baby can be emotionally and physically exhausting. There is so much information thrown at you and it can be very hard to sift through it. If you are looking for clarity, support and community, this group is for you.
The Level I Mommy & Me Group will help new parents tackle the challenges that come with the first 6 months of parenthood so that they feel empowered and informed to make the best choices possible for themselves and their child. Unlike other parenting groups, this group is led by a developmental specialist who looks at each family holistically using a sensory and neuro based approach.
This group will be led by Tanya Peterson, owner of The Tot Spot and pediatric Occupational Therapist, with nearly a decade of experience. Tanya has advanced education and knowledge in human development, women's health, and perinatal mental health. She's also a mother of 2 with firsthand experience.
This group is meant for caregivers with infants 5.5 weeks to 6 months old.
This group is meant to be informative & supportive. We will share experiences, types of parenting and how to tackle all the challenges that occur within the first 6 months of infancy.
Group meetings will begin June 4 via Google Meet and continue every Thursday morning from 10:00AM -11:00AM for 6 weeks.
Topics will focus on
- Bonding & attachment
- Infant Development
