**Hot Tips for your first time on the Pottery Wheel
- Maybe don't wear your favorite shoes or clothes (pants/shorts are recommended as you will be straddling the wheels). While the clay is all natural and water soluble, it still has the ability to make it's way into nooks and cranny's. We have full walking aprons for every student so we'll keep your clothes as clean and covered as possible, but get ready to roll those sleeves up (literally and figuratively speaking.)
- Bring hair ties for long hair to keep your luscious locks clay free; unless you want to embrace the “Clay Hair Don’t Care” lifestyle
- Long nails can be a hindrance to throwing so please plan accordingly
