Marvel Crisis Protocol LVOIS Qualifier

Mox Portland is hosting an LVOIS Qualifier Event for Marvel Crisis Protocol! This will be a Standard Format Marvel Crisis Protocol Event with Swiss pairings across 5 rounds, ending with our top 8 earning points towards an LVOIS invite, and our top player qualifying to be in the top 59 points earners.

All players will be required to register their teams, including team tactics cards, models, and crisis objectives before matches begin.

This event will be run in LongShanks, be prepared to enter your list into this website before or on the day of the event.

When: August 7th at 10:00am

Entry Fee:  $20

Number of Rounds: 5
Round Time: 1 hr 30 minutes (with 15min breaks)
Player check-in: 10:30am
Missing players dropped: 11:00am
Dice roll:  11:00pm
Lunch: 2:15 - 3:00pm
Expected End: 8:15pm

Prizes:

Prize support will be based on the number of attendees. Assuming all spots are filles prize support breaks out as follows:
1st: $200 store credit and LVOIS Invitation
2nd: $100 store credit
3rd & 4th: $50 store credit
5th - 8th: $35 store credit
Best Painted: $100 store credit

How does a player qualify for The Marvel Crisis Protocol LVOIS?

 Players will attend sanctioned qualifying events and receive points based on their performance. Only the top 8 players will receive points. The amount of points will be determined by the size of tournaments, with an ending bonus based on attendance for tie breakers.

 Players will be awarded spots in The MCP LVOIS based on winning a qualifier. Winning a qualifier event qualifies you for a spot in the invitational. You may play in as many tournaments that you wish but only your top 3 scores will be used for tie breaks.

 The top 59 players with 1st place wins will be invited to the MCP LVOIS. 4 spots will be filled from the LCQ (Last chance qualifier) events at LVO. The winner from the previous year will fill in the final 64th spot. If an individual is not able to make the event that is in the top 59 we will go down the points list until we have the top 59 committed to The Invitational, as long as they meet the requirements to earn the top 59 spots. In the event that someone has to drop once the convention starts we will pull additional players from the LCQ events.Detailed Schedule:
