Art and Emotions for Middle School Girls
A therapeutic art making group for girls in middle school that will explore their feelings around living in this current world of uncertainty and the affect it has on their day-to-day lives.
Topics covered will be determined by the group based on the issues the girls are currently facing socially and emotionally. Activities will involve painting, yoga, and mindfulness. Each week girls will work on an art project creatively and metaphorically exploring the theme of "layers". This will be a safe place for middle school girls to connect, share and create.
PLEASE READ:
1. There will be curated art materials provided to each participants for use at home. Arrangement will be made after registration to distribute at home kits to participants.
2. A Zoom link for the group will also be sent out after registering for the group.
