Party: Kid's Birthday Party Package - Pottery, Canvas, or Clay!

Choose Your  Kids' Birthday Package -
Thank you for your interest in booking a party with us! We strive to provide a fun, creative atmosphere for your special day. 

Our party packages include 

• projects for up to 8 guests
• exclusive use of our classroom space for 2 hours
• staff instruction
• the use of all supplies needed to complete the project
• set up and cleanup
• kiln firing for pottery

Please feel free to bring any food or drinks for your guests, we only ask that you tidy up any food items afterwards due to short staffing. The classroom seats up to 16 guests, additional guests over the 8 included in the package are an additional fee. Please give us a heads up the day before if you plan to bring more than 8. This helps us to set up the space so it's ready for your group. 
Kid's projects usually take approximately 1.5 hrs to complete allowing for any food or drinks to be consumed during the last 30 minutes. Guests may arrive 10 minutes early to set up. We run on a tight schedule and need time to clean before our next guests, we do ask that parties do not linger in the classroom any longer than 10 min. after the party ends.

• Children in the group must stay with the host adult until picked up. 
• Guests may bring balloons or tablecloths to decorate the space. 
• Families of participants who would like to stay and paint in the studio will receive a 10% discount. This discount may not be combined with any other offers.  
  *Tape and wall hanging strips are not allowed to be used in our classroom space for hanging decorations. Vandalism, excessive messes, the use of glitter, confetti, or silly string of any kind while in our studio will result in additional $50 clean up charge. 

Pottery Project
 
Party Animals: Each child may choose one item from our party animal pottery selection. This selection can include a variety of zoo, farm, sea life, and other items such as planes, unicorns, dragons, princesses, etc. (available options are subject to change based on availability.) We do not limit colors, our classroom is fully stocked with a wide variety of glaze colors for the kids to choose from. 

Acrylic paint options are available as well. Guests may take items painted with acrylic home the same day. Please note items painted with acrylics will not have the same glassy shine as glazed and kiln fired pottery.

Mugs: Each child may paint a mug with pottery glazes to create a one of a kind piece that can be used at home! Our classroom is fully stocked with a variety of glaze colors to allow each guest to create a custom piece.  

Pick Up: Pottery projects using glaze may be picked up after 7 days to allow for kiln firing. Our staff will have your items bagged individually and ready for the host to pick up. 

Canvas Project

Guests will paint a design selected by the birthday child no later than 1 week prior to the event. Canvas paintings are an instructor guided class with step by step instructions. All guests will be provided with an apron to help protect clothing. After completing their masterpieces, the kids will allow their canvases to dry. Paintings will be ready to take home the same day. Canvas designs are located in the photos for this booking. Please type in the number of the design your child would like to paint. 
*Please note, acrylic paints can stain clothes. The Sweada Mae Art Cafe is not responsible for stained clothes.

Glow Paint Parties!
 
Glow Paint parties add an extra element of fun! Our specially designed classroom space is set up for maximum glow! Guests are welcome to bring glow items such as bracelets, necklaces, and body paint markers for even more glow fun. If you'd like to simplify, you may opt to purchase our glow kit which includes 16 glow bracelets and glow body paint for an additional $25. 
 
Clay Hand building! 
The Host may choose from a selection of projects & designs including an animal plate or a cup. This projects is geared for ages 8+. Guests will create and glaze their project the same day. Clay requires extra drying time for kiln firing. Projects will be available for pick up 2 weeks after the party. 

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Due to the small size of our party room we can only allow 16 guests/painters + 2 adults at any time.  Extra guests are welcome to stay to paint and will receive a 10% off discount. Non painters are welcome to visit on of our neighboring restaurants and downtown businesses. We do ask that parents who stay to participate in the party keep the noise level to a minimum while we are teaching/instructing
