Beginners Wheel Throwing Class

This is a 1.5 hour one time class to try out the art of clay on a wheel. No experience needed.

Come play with clay and learn how to throw your own pottery pieces in our Wheel Station.  Each person will throw 2 pieces.

In this Beginner class, we will already have your clay centered and ready to throw on the wheel.  You will be instructed on how to make a basic cup and bowl.
We are very excited to now be using Stoneware clay. It’s easy to work with, a more durable clay body and is fired to a much hotter temperature allowing our New Glazes more time to develop in the kiln.

Pricing: $65/person.  This price includes the class and the bisque firing and glaze firing for ONE of the two pieces that you will make during the class. If you wish to keep your second piece it will be an additional $20 (paid for on the day of your class) which includes firing and glazing.

If you enjoyed your class please remember to tip your instructor on the day of your class. It is not required but is very much appreciated by them.

Class size is limited to 8 people.

**Recommended for ages 8 - 108**

Kids under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult also taking the class.

TIPS FOR CLASS:  (Read Before Booking)

    -Clay washes out of clothes but we do suggest wearing something comfy.

    -Trim your nails before class. (Long nails make it hard to work with clay on the wheel)

   -We will ask that you take off any rings, watches, or bracelets before your class starts.
   
   -We do not allow sit ins for any classes.  You must have a paying seat to stay for the class.
