Japanese Hand Planes

Japanese hand planes have been used and virtually unchanged for many centuries and in Japan are widely considered the most important tool in any craftsman's tool kit. In this class you will learn the technique of making, using,and caring for these ancient tools. This class teaches a lifetime skill that gives you the ability to make a plane for virtually any task, plus you leave the class with a plane that will last you years to come!

Students are required to bring the items on this supply list to the first day of class.
