Weekend Butter Dish Workshop

This is a TWO-day workshop that teaches you how to create a butter dish by using the basic slab handbuilding technique.

Day 1 (May 21st)

You will learn how to roll slabs and decorate them with textures. The instructor will also guide you step by step to turn them into a tray and a cover for your butter dish set.

Day 2 (May 22nd)

You will spend some time to refine your form and also paint it with color slips.

This workshop does not require any ceramic experience.

Students must be 10 years old or older to participate. (any minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian taking the same class)

Safety Measures

*All of our instructors wear masks during the class, while we do not require guests of the studio to wear masks, they are highly recommended.

*We have multiple hand wash stations through out the studio.

*Hand Sanitizers are available at the door and at the bar.

*After finishing your work, the instructor will glaze the piece for you. (clear glaze)

*All clay works take two firing processes to complete, which takes about 3-4 weeks. You will receive an email notification once your work is ready for pick up.
