The Plein Air Basics Workshop will be interactive, useful and informative. It is a "hands on" course that will be exactly what beginners need to get started in outdoor painting. It breaks down the process of painting outdoors starting with how to develop observation skills, how to choose a subject, designing simple compositions, learning how to see the big shapes first, what gear is essential, and using a limited palette while keeping it simple.

We will practice in the studio as well as go outdoors to paint lakeside.

All supplies are included. Please let us know if you have a portable easel and will be bringing it. Otherwise, one will be provided for your use.
