Experience the Magic of Making - Laser Etched Tiles

Laser Etched Tiles- 

Use our Glowforge laser cutter to engrave your favorite design, image, or photo onto keepsake tiles - great for functional use as coasters or trivets, or to display on your shelf or wall. Tiles will be etched, then colored in with permanent inks to showcase the design. 

This (approximately) one hour experience is ideal for adults or kids ages 6 & up. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 

Your artwork or photo should be saved to a USB drive and brought in with you, or be accessible online through cloud storage. You can also bring hand-drawn artwork that can be scanned directly by the Glowforge. Images must be high resolution, with high contrast and as little ‘noise’ as possible, especially in the background, or the finished engraving will not be a clear image. Please come with several options to choose from.

How it works:

Purchase a gift coin in person, by phone, or online. We do not offer shipping. If you are purchasing online or over the phone you can either come in to pick it up in person, or the coin will be wrapped with the recipient's name and placed on our tree, and they are able to come in to get their gift coin. 

Coins will have a scannable QR code on the back, which will send the recipient the details and instructions. They will be directed to call and schedule a time to come in and redeem their gift. 

If there is any problem with using the QR code, the corresponding symbol found on the coin will also be found online on our website. The recipient can click that symbol to be directed to that page.

Gift coins must be presented in person at Gizmo when you come in for your experience. They will be marked when used, and you may keep the coin as a keepsake if you’d like. Lost coins will not be replaced.

Gift coins are redeemable for one person only, and one guardian may accompany minors. Due to COVID, we are limiting the number of people in the makerspace at a time.
