This introduction class is offered on two dates, August 25th and September 1st, and is designed to prepare you for the weekly Acrylics Basics classes starting September 8th for four weeks and continuing monthly. It is only necessary to take one of the two classes offered.
This class is not a prerequisite. However, students will gain a greater understanding of the essential art supplies needed to get started with acrylics and how to navigate the overwhelming buying options online and in the stores. We will go over the different brush selections, painting surfaces, palettes, paints, and more. There will be drawing exercises, helping you build the foundation for painting.
