In this 8-week class, adults will learn, through drawing and painting, how composition and design are key in producing captivating artworks in any medium. The class will also explore how these principles impact our everyday lives, such as interior design and photography. It will be taught by artist Beth Smith, an artist with years of teaching experience. The cost for the entire course is $240 for non-members, $200 for members, and includes all supplies. The class will meet on Mondays, 6:30-8:30 pm, starting January 11. Ages 16 and up.
For the health and safety of our customers and artists, our classes are currently held under the following guidelines:
- Small class sizes: there will be no more than 8 students in this class
- Social distancing: participants will sit 6 feet apart, unless they are in the same party.
- Masks: students must wear masks.
- Sanitation: hand sanitizer will be provided. Tools, tables, and other frequently-touched surfaces will be sanitized between classes.
- Health: participants are asked not to attend if they have a fever or other symptoms of COVID-19, or if they believe they have been exposed to COVID-19
