Handbuilding Project of the Week: Textured Pumpkins

Each weekend, we feature a specific project that we can help you complete. We'll have all the supplies ready, an instructor, and an instructional sheet to help you create awesome art - even without any experience!

This weekend's project are adorable textured mini pumpkins that you can use to decorate from Halloween all the way through Thanksgiving! You'll learn slab building and texturing skills on our white earthenware clay - super forgiving and beginner-friendly. You'll get a chance to paint it while wet, and then you'll leave it with us for firing - we'll send it though the kiln with a clear glaze, so that it's watertight and smooth.

Your project includes:

• Clay to make a pair of mini pumpkins
• Glazes & firing

Ages 10+ welcome as a drop-and-go, younger children must have a participating adult present. 

Masks are required while in the studio.
