Private Potter's Wheel Lessons!

Book your private 1- hr wheel lesson at Joe's! 

This is a great lesson for first-time potters to give the potter's wheel a try! Each lesson includes a demonstration by one of our experienced potters. Then, students will be guided through two rounds of making their own pieces of pottery! First time potters usually make two small bowls or cups. We can accommodate up to 3 students per lesson (see prices below).

After the lesson, the pieces will stay at Joe's for drying and bisque firing. This process takes two weeks. After two weeks time, you can come back and paint your pots in the studio. Then, your painted pieces will be glazed and fired and ready for pickup within 1 week of the date you painted them. Now, you have two handmade pots ready for use!

NEED TO KNOW:

- Lessons last 1 hour. 

- Each person will have two attempts to make their own pots.

- Ages 8 and up only.

- Wear your play clothes. We will be making a mess!

- Remove any jewelry or watches. Consider bringing a hair tie.

COST:  (Includes lesson, clay, and return painting visit).

1-person Lesson $65 + tax

2-person Lesson $120 + tax

3-person Lesson $165 + tax

A non-refundable $20 deposit will be collected today when you book an appointment. This deposit will be applied towards the total cost of your lesson at checkout.
