Embrace the Blur (Lensbaby)

As a Lensbaby Ambassador, Cathy will show you a glimpse into the world of Lensbaby and share with you some of the ways to take your photography “from the ordinary to the extraordinary.”  She’ll give you examples of how to use these selective focus products to better tell your stories, to set your work apart from others and how to spend less time in front of your computer editing and more time in the field, at the studio or at your kitchen table creating!   Lensbaby isn’t just for flowers.  It spans the genres of photography to include nature, landscape, street, architecture, still life, documentary, wedding, fashion, portrait, sports (yes you read that right!)  and more!  Join Cathy as she shares what she has learned, how she has been inspired, and how you can use these products to create your own one of kind images!   This will be a two-part class.  Cathy will share with you how she uses the products and how the products work .  In the second half of class you can try a lens for yourself.  We will have one lens from each of the following mounts for you to try.: Nikon FX, Nikon Z, Canon EF, Canon RF, and Sony E mount.  In addition we will have several Omni wands available. 

An understanding of using your camera completely in manual mode is extremely helpful with using Lensbaby lenses, however you can use the Omni products in Auto or even with your cell phone!   

Bring your camera,  but please understand that we will only one lens for each mount , so you will be taking turns.  When you don’t have a lens, you can experiment with the Omni wands.
