Welcome to Art Exploration. A four week painting series for children 5-8 years old.
In this four part series, students will learn the fundamentals of conceptualizing artwork from start to finish. Students will use a variety of tools and mediums, including acrylic paints and watercolor paints to create beautiful finished artwork. We will learn about the elements of texture, form, value, and color while also exploring art history and culture.
Week 1: Portfolio Making and introduction to Artistic terminology
Week 2: Color Theory
Week 3: Composition in Still Life
Week 4: Patterns & Composition
This is a four week class series for children 5-8 years old. Classes will re-occur weekly on the same day. For example if you choose to start on a Wednesday, all classes will be on Wednesday. Please let us know if you need to make different arrangements and will do our best to accommodate!
