4-week course
Tuesdays, September 8, 15, 22, 29
Time: 9 AM - 11 AM (MST - Phoenix, Arizona)
Cost: $225
This Virtual Plein Air Basics Workshop will be interactive, useful and informative. It is exactly what beginners need to get started in outdoor painting. Carrie breaks down the process by starting with how to develop your observational skills, how to choose a subject and how to design simple compositions.
There will be exercises on color and value and in four weeks you will gain the essential knowledge needed to paint simple paintings outdoors while having fun!
Art Supplies are required. However, it is not necessary to purchase supplies prior to the first day of class. There will be a full discussion on what supplies would best for beginners and where to buy them. The materials needed for the first day of class will be graphite and sketchbook and optional watercolors if you have them.
If you would like to purchase the supplies before the first class or check out the supply lists for acrylics or for oils, see below.
