Memory Box Family Workshop

Artist Betye Saar's work has inspired many to create memory boxes for their loved one. In this class you will be given guidance and a variety of materials to choose from to create your own memory or family history box. This is a fun way to be creative while honoring your loved ones. Please bring mementos to put into your art piece: Pictures, letters, jewelry, hankies, anything you have or that reminds you of the loved one you want to remember. You could also create a family box that honors your family as it is right now. This is for you to design. We will have scrapbook paper, paint, other items to look through for inspiration. We will also provide you with a cardboard box. You are welcome to bring your own box or container if you have one. This class is great for kids, it's great for adults, it's great for the whole family!
