Open to all levels of experience and ages! Come learn the steps to making things in clay by hand including prep, construction and decoration. This class will have demonstrations led by the teaching artist but is also open to personal project ideas. Demonstrations will focus on the fundamentals of handbuilding such as slab, coil and pinch techniques as well as how to add texture to clay to make objects like vases, plates, flower pots and more! Included in the cost is everything you need while you are in class: basic pottery tools, clay, firing, glazes, and discounted open studio opportunities. This class is great for kids, great for adults, great for the whole family!
