Things you will need for class:
-Download Zoom app on phone or computer before class
-Dough for 20 dumplings: 1.75 cup AP flour, pinch salt, 1/3 cup HOT water, 1/8 cup cold water, 1/2 Tbsp neutral oil (canola, veg, grapeseed), wooden spoon handle or chopstick to mix
-Filling: Protein (Meat, Tofu, beans), Veg (Cabbage, carrot, cooked sweet potato, etc) , Aromatics(garlic, ginger etc), onion (white, shallot, scallion) THIS DEPENDS ON YOUR PANTRY!
-Sauce: Soy sauce, sesame oil, mayo, hot/chili sauce, vinegar (rice, white, ACV, etc) or any combination
-Tools: Mixing bowl, chopstick OR wooden spoon, Rolling pin/Wine Bottle/something to roll, frying pan with lid (this could be a sheet tray or cake pan, anything that covers the pan, Vessel of water, Fish spatula or tongs, microplane/knife/grater (Pan sear & steam Dumplings)
Optional: Pot of water for boiling Or pot of OIl for frying.
***We are stressing Modifications in this class! It is super important to know that grocery stores are only open for essentials. Please look to your existing pantry before shopping. This class is interactive & we will help you make substitutions & modifications!
