The basics plein air workshop will be interactive, useful and informative. It is a "hands on" course that will be exactly what beginners need to get started in outdoor painting. It breaks down the process of painting outdoors starting with how to develop observation skills, how to choose a subject, designing simple compositions, learning how to see the big shapes first, what gear is essential, and using a limited palette while keeping it simple.

We will practice in the studio as well as go outdoors to paint lakeside both days of each workshop.

Supplies are not included, please see our Plein Air Supply List. Must have outdoor portable easel.
