No matter what eating style, plan or diet you follow, the core should be whole, real food. This Cooking Fundamentals series will focus on delicious, healthy foods prepared with real, whole ingredients. Each week, you will be in the kitchen preparing approximately 3 dishes as you learn and practice basic cooking techniques, become familiar with ingredients and kitchen tools, explore different flavors and share the cooking experience with others. All varieties of food from breakfast to dinner, snacks to sides and even a few “dessert” options will be included. The class will be plant based and gluten free. In addition to the recipes for the food prepared, you will receive additional informational hand-outs and recipes to try at home. Whether you are new to cooking or just want to hone and improve your core skills, this class is for you! Includes recipe binder and set of take-home containers (past cooking series participants, please bring binder and containers from previous classes.) This is a GREAT way to jump start a Healthy Cooking Habit!!!
