INTRO TO 3D PRINTING

3D printing allows you to quickly and easily create a physical object from a computer model, literally printing thin layers of the part one at a time. This is an easy way to prototype parts for machining or injection molding, or just making one-off parts out of convenience.

In this 3D printing class, students will gain a better understanding of 3D printing concepts, terminology and methods. Students will learn the basics of setup, printing and finishing using BFL's Makerbot Replicator 2 and Creality CR-10. 

***Please note - if participant is under age 14, they must be accompanied by an adult. Both adult and child must purchase a spot in the class. The adult must stay for the duration of instruction.

Once you take and successfully pass this class, you can use this equipment for your projects whenever you work at BFL as a member!
