Field trips/Scout badges

For the pottery badge or just for fun:

Each Participant
will experience the magic of turning mud into a masterpiece through the
introduction of slab construction, coiling, and pinching techniques.
Each
Participant will create and complete two projects, then finish
them with our special underglazes. After the projects are completed, The
 group will take a tour of the kiln room, and learn the process of
glazing and firing. ( Scouts will then have earned that amazing ceramics
 badge!)

For the fun of painting:

Participants will learn the basics of pottery painting, and will take a tour of the
kiln room and learn the process of glazing and firing. Pottery pieces
can be decided before arrival or once everyone has arrived. Minimum of 7
 Participants required

We can also set up a Canvas painting or glass fusing event!
