Lockpicking

Ever wondered how locks work?  In this 3-hour class, we will dig into the types of locks, how and when they are used, how they work, and most importantly, how to open them non-destructively without a key!

The ability to pick open a lock might seem like movie magic, but it is a real skill that can be learned in just a couple of hours.  We will practice opening the most common types of locks found in the United States, pin tumbler locks and wafer locks, and then take a look at disc locks, ACE pinned locks, combination locks and others as well.
When you leave the class you'll know how to open pin tumbler locks with a hook pick, and a wafer lock with a rake pick, but practice makes perfect, and that is all up to you!
