Learn more advanced techniques for creating pottery on the wheel in this 4-week class. This class will meet Mondays & Wednesdays, for a total of 8 classes. Students will learn more advanced throwing forms such as lidded jars, teapots, and oval baking dishes. Basic throwing skills are required before taking this class. It will be taught by Noah Miller. Ages 16 and up. The cost is $220 for non-members, $185 for members, and includes all materials and firings. Meets Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 pm, starting November 9. The class will not meet the week of Thanksgiving, and the last class will be December 9.
For the health and safety of our customers and artists, our classes will be held under the following guidelines:* Small class sizes: there will be no more than 6 people in a pottery class* Social distancing: participants will sit 6 feet apart, unless they are family or live together, etc.* Masks: students must wear masks at all times.* Sanitation: hand sanitizer will be provided and frequent hand washing will be encouraged.
