The historic farmhouse and dining area are nestled in a shady walnut tree grove, surrounded by chickens, guineas, cats, geese, and more with the sound of goats and cows nearby—an immersive gathering that is uniquely Saltwell but should also be noted for those who are sensitive to heat, insects, animals, and native plants that are characteristic of a rural Midwestern landscape.
At Saltwell Farm Kitchen, we celebrate our local resources, farmers, and makers. Menus are not available until service begins, as we edit and add ingredients according to availability—some ingredients are foraged just hours before seating starts.
