This is a real studio class for young artists. No glitter and popsicle sticks. ;-)
In this course, students will gain understanding of a variety of materials and techniques through one on one instruction and independent experimentation. Mark making, composition and design will be emphasized in this hands on studio class. Materials and techniques covered in this course include, but are not limited to: drawing, painting, mixed media, perspective, guidelines of composition, life drawing, abstract art and contemporary art.

*Parent/Caregiver is required to stay for the entire duration of the class if the student is in PreK or Kindergarten (Optional for 1st grade participants). Participation of parent/caregiver is not expected or required, but it is always welcomed.
