Art Camp Grades 3-5: Magical & Mythical

Description:

We'll be making artwork dedicated to all of our favorite magical and mythical creatures this week. From unicorns to dragons, mermaids to wizards. We will even have a few projects fit for Hogwarts! Our favorite part about this theme is how much students get to use their imagination- there are no right or wrong answers when it comes to magic! 

In our 4 day long camps, we focus on all types of art. We'll create projects with clay, paint ceramics, use acrylics and other mixed media. Some projects will be brought home the day of; all fired projects will be ready for pickup at Wish 7-10 days after camp ends. Our goal is to create fun, engaging projects that each student can put their own artistic flair on. Our instructors encourage each student to be unique and creative while in our studio! We'll also learn about art and food along the way. 

Our camps are designed and staffed by certified NJ teachers as well as future teachers who are currently studying education. We keep our class sizes small so that each student can receive the individualized attention they need! 

Masks will be optional for art club students. We will provide smocks for each student, but it is best to send them in clothes that can get stained just in case! Each student should bring a water bottle with them to camp. Some activities may take place outside if weather permits, please put sunscreen on before camp and/or have your student bring a hat. Each parent will be asked to fill out an information form and our Covid-19 waiver at the beginning of camp.
