During this virtual retreat, you will turn inward with gentle curiosity to uncover your own personal definition of self-compassion and self-care through the modalities of journaling, art and movement. You will be guided by our expressive arts facilitators to create the foundations of a personal self care plan that will restore and nourish your body, mind and soul.
You will be guided through visualization and restorative yoga to drop deeper into your body and out of your busy minds. Journaling and inquiry will help to draw out what you most need and desire. While art making will offer a creative manifestation of your intentions.
Please wear comfortable clothes and prepare a quiet, uninterrupted space for the retreat. Also have some blank paper and/or a journal on hand with some basic art supplies (markers, colored pencils, etc). A yoga mat and/or blanket, bolster, pillow and/or eye pillow are also recommended but not required. Additional curated art materials will be available for pick-up at The Artful Life in Salem prior to February 20th.
