Cancellation policy: In the event you need to cancel, we offer credit or a rescheduled class based on notice provided as follows:

• 31+ days of notice - 100% refund to original payment method less 15% administration fee
• 14 to 30 days of notice – 100% of class value returned as class credit
• 3 to 14 days of notice – 50% of class value returned as class credit
• 0 to 3 days (72 hours) of notice and no-shows – 0% of class value returned

This policy is non-negotiable for any reason, including but not limited to weather and illness.

Class credit is not transferable to retail purchases at Lakehouse Home Store.

We reserve the right to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances or low class registration. We will reach out to you to arrange a refund or to reschedule your class.

A waiver must be signed by all guests prior to the start of the class.

We welcome youth as participants in our kitchen but ask that youth 18 and younger attend class with an adult. We encourage you to make sure the class topic is a good choice for them, and that their maturity level is ready for 2-3 hours of instruction.

Participants must be 19+ for our alcoholic beverage education classes.

Food Allergies: If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please call 250-763-9500 ext 111 or email info@lakehousekitchens.com so that we may assess if accommodations can be made to the class menu. You are always welcome to attend to learn, eating is up to you! Allergies are the responsibility of the guest and not of the Lakehouse Kitchens Cooking School. We are unable to take responsibility for allergic reactions to foodstuffs. Be advised that our kitchens are not a gluten or nut-free environment.

Lakehouse Kitchens sometimes takes photographs and video during our classes, which are used for various purposes, such as social media and advertising. We ask for permission to use your likeness in promotional material to promote our classes and events. Therefore, you release Lakehouse Kitchens and its representatives, licensees, employees, photographers and their designers from any and all liability for any violation of any privacy or proprietary rights.
