Orientation: Jewelry Lab II, Soldering Tools

Make a sterling silver ring as you advance your jewelry-making skills.  You'll learn multiple soldering techniques and how to anneal metal.

  • Students with some bench experience; Completion of Jewelry Lab I, bench tools class is required.

Plan Your Visit

All materials and safety equipment supplied.  Students are encouraged to bring the pieces from the Jewelry Bench Tools Orientation class but students will make a simple sterling silver ring using materials provided.

Closed-toed shoes, long sleeved shirts, natural fibers (cotton, denim, linen), with long hair pulled back.

Plan to arrive for class about 10-15 min early and check in at the front desk.  Our main entrance is on State Street, with parking lot entrance on State St. as well. IF parking and street parking available.
